Country Coney in Oxford

Have been going here on and off for around 4 years ordered a southern omelet; the portion size was a lot smaller than what it used to be. And there was little to almost no sausage gravy. "Which its suppose to be smoothered in gray" Not happy doubt it that I will return.

This has been a favorite place of mine for breakfast or brunch for many years however I seldom go there anymore since I moved to Rochester Hills. Country Coney has some of the best omelets in Oakland County and wonderful combinations. Today, I had a Philly cheesesteak omelette which was delicious. Because I don't eat potatoes, they gave me some grilled broccoli and I love grilled broccoli. So if you're out in the area of Lake Orion and Oxford looking for a really good breakfast, brunch or lunch stop at this favorite local, hometown and old fashioned good. The staff are very friendly and the coffee is hot.

Food was delicious. Our waitress was rude and forgetful - she didn’t seem to be very focused on us & was clearly annoyed by my questions about the menu. Food was great - the potatoes are truly amazing.

Always very busy on weekends and holidays. Breakfast of any desire is available. Service is excellent and friendly, coffee cups always full. Power was out and we needed breakfast and Country Coney always tops the list. I give this place 5 stars because they deserve it. It would be wrong of me if I didn't say anything about the professional workforce that keeps this place rolling 7 days a week. This place is a benchmark for what restaurants should strive for!Oh yeah, the people who sign the checks and pay the bills are the reason Country Coney thrives...... and the coney's are pretty darn good too!

All the employees were very nice and polite and took orders pretty quick and food was just like eating a home cooked meal. The sausage gravy was great but the biscuits were a little bland but food was still very good and it's in a great community

Country Coney is a favorite spot for me. I really like to meet my friends and family there for breakfast. My favorite is the meat-lovers omelette. You can always count on Fast friendly service. I highly recommend you stop here for breakfast. They even have takeout

Always a great atmosphere even when there really busy. Waitresses are always great, food is great. Love country coney.

They don't have hasbrowns, But, they have a full menu of hot delicious items. My coffee stayed full even though they were so busy there was only one spot left in the parking lot. I'll never go to another diner except this one.

Great coneys and fries. Food was cold. Reason we were there around closing on a monday. Been better if we were told up front not given cold food

For a small diner, food is good, service is good, and coffee is good. Definitely worth stopping in if you're driving by looking for some good fast grub.

Outstanding breakfast. Love omelettes. 75 cent upgrade to German Hash browns with bacon and peppers worth it. Reasonable prices. Quick seating even when busy. Great Service. Worth going out your way!

That was good breacfast good prices and no masks

I wemt there for breakfast with a group of froends. The servoce was quite good. Our waitress was very patient as some people in our party were unsure what to order. She filled oir coffees and said ahe would be back to check on us. After we put our order in, our breakfast was on our table withon 10 minutes. Not too bad considwring yhr place was packed. Food was amazing and cooked homestyle. Almost like being in grandmas kitchen! Highly recommend!

Best place in both villages,awsome fish,steak sandwiches,blueberry pancakes and the Hungry Man breakfast is enough to fill anybody up.Been a regular there for decades.

The Reuben sandwich was great, fries were nice and crisp but lacked flavor. Pop was a little too syrupy.However the server was great! Very friendly and the food was out very quickly

Lived here for 4 years and can't believe we have never been to this place. Walking into this cozy restaurant brought me to the little diners we frequent up north from the decor, to the people and the menu. It had the ultimate ma & pay feel. I had an omelette and upgraded to the corn beef hash. Omelette was amazing and the corned beef has was authentic and himemade. My husband had the best, made from scratch biscuits and gravy and my son loved his pancakes. Our server was quick, friendly and I never had to ask for a refill. This will definitely be on our regular breakfast rotation.

I've been going there for years, food and service is always great!Breakfast, gyros, chili yummy! Today I tried a Chicken Greek with pita bread and I'm glad I did.

Someone told me about Country Coney a couple of weeks ago when we were discussing local breakfast stops. She raved and we made a visit. We went for lunch and both had salads that were fresh, crisp and tasty. Service is outstanding and we can't wait to go back and try breakfast.

Whole menu is fantastic, the employees are super friendly and the environment is exactly what you would expect from a small town diner.

The servers make you feel welcome. The owner less so. Small and limited seating. Busy on weekend mornings. Not a place to linger.

Wonderful family owned spot with a divey atmosphere. Great early bird specials till 11am and daily friendly service at Country Coney. Definitely try the homemade gravy it's no disappointment.

It was one of the best places I ever had breakfast!! My husband has been there a lot ...he always raved about it being like home made...it was!! Service and atmosphere very warm and comfortable!!

Awesome breakfast. Very good onion rings and burgers too. Best corned beef hash I have ever had. They have awesome cooks and the servers go the extra mile and are very friendly.
